Dog Mastermind
For dog business owners who don’t want to figure it out alone.
Meet regularly with others in the Colorado dog industry, share what’s working, learn from guest experts, and build relationships that lead to referrals and partnerships. What makes this Mastermind different?
This isn’t a typical networking group where you show up, exchange business cards, and leave. The focus is on real conversation. Business owners share what’s actually working, talk through challenges, and build relationships over time. It’s designed to be a group you come back to, not just a one-time event.
What does the Mastermind include?
In-person Meetups
Rotating monthly gatherings giving you the chance to connect with a variety of business owners. Each meetup includes time for both structured learning and open networking, so you can meet new people while still having real conversations.
Online Sessions
Additional sessions focused on specific topics, open Q&A, or working through challenges together. These are designed to go deeper, giving you a chance to learn, ask questions, and apply ideas directly to your own business.
Ongoing Connection
Stay connected between meetups through the private Skool community, where conversations continue and questions don’t have to wait for the next event. It’s a space to share updates, ask for input, and build relationships over time.

Get Out From Behind the Dog
Wednesday, August 26 | 6 pm – 8 pm
3060 Larimer | RiNo (Denver)
For many small business owners, showing off the work is easy. But showing up as the person behind it?
Not so much.
Join the creator of The Advantage Code™ and 20-year business strategist, Wendy Van Ryn, for an interactive session designed to help you identify the strengths and perspectives that make people connect with and trust you.
Through a mini self-assessment and practical exercises, you’ll explore what makes you, the owner, distinct and how to show up without feeling like you have to be someone you’re not.
You’ll walk away with a better answer to the question, “What do I bring to my business that people actually value?” and practical ways to turn that insight into marketing that feels natural, credible, and — most importantly — true to you.
BONUS: Your Own Headshot
If you’ve been putting off getting a decent headshot (we see you), this month’s Mastermind has you covered.
Shania Greenwood, founder of Rat Dog Media and a Mastermind member herself, is joining us to offer headshots to the group. Shania grew up surrounded by animals on her family’s cattle farm in Ohio before studying communications at Kent State and building a career photographing dogs and horses. She’s now based right here in Denver, where Rat Dog Media has become known for portraits that capture real personality and connection, not just a posed smile.
Headshots are free for Mastermind members and $25 for nonmembers.
Between the networking, Shania’s camera, and Wendy Van Ryn’s session on showing up as the face of your business, this is the night to finally get a photo of yourself you’re proud to put on your website.
