For a relaxing hike close to Denver, the Bear Creek Trail to the Castle is a fun experience. The trail follows a creek that dogs can take a dip in. It’s a there and back trail that ends at a private home that resembles an intricate castle.
This hike is especially beautiful in the fall when you can see yellow and even some red and orange foliage. However, there is lots of shade in the summer, making this a great hike for anytime of year. There can be bikers on the trail, so keep an eye out for them.
